  Beautiful apartment, but built on a steep hill. Great if you have a car. Otherwise, take a taxi back up especially on a hot day. there is no shuttle service to the airport or to the Ample point marina so prepare to pay the cost. Can walk to to town center but its caters for tourist at rip off prices.

  A very clean apartment with everything you need to cook with instead of eating out everynight. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. A lovely view of the water and forest. Nice and quiet. Take the path at the front of units when walking in to town, its not as steep.

  My wife and I stayed at Summit Apartments for 3.5 weeks on our honeymoon in February 2013 and used it as a base to explore the Whitsundays. We had an apartment on the top level with views to the water from the balcony and the surrounding rain forest to the side. An absolutely wonderful place to stay and reasonably priced which allowed us to spend more time doing what we wanted on day trips, as well as being able to leave our hire car safely whilst we jetted off the Hayman and Hamilton Islands during our stay. We will definitely be back some time in the future!

  Such a fantastic facility. Beautiful furnishings, super modern and clean. Cockatoos that come right to your balcony! Our two bedroom suite had a master with open shower and tub - only a door on the toilet - and an ocean view! Beautiful pool overlooking the bay, and rec room with ping pong and Cruisin' World. They'll say it's a quick walk to the main drag, but I would drive as it's a hot walk.

  New and modern facilities. Very nice. Visited my working boyfriend, lodging here. Perfect walking distance from the township: long enough to enjoy the walk, short enough to not get tired. (Just remember the hill going home.)
