  unfortunately i went on fish dive charters and found the fishing gear just about unusable [ jamming when trying to pull in catch and one was cutting the line due to lack of maintenance ) also to add to our pain we had to stop on the way because of a fuel blockage even tho the fish wasnt biting on the day we found the skipper to be helpfull and moved around looking for them

  I don't know who owns this charter but its a complete money grab and you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves for taking mine and every passengers money. For those like myself was who are looking for a much earned getaway to Airlie for a bit of a break and a fishing trip let me be very clear that you do not want to go on this charter. You will catch nothing... WHICH IS VERY HARD TO DO IS SUCH A LOCATION LIKE THIS!! But i'm guessing this is normal for these guys. Their rods and reels have never been looked after and probably never been washed. They were actually falling apart while casting. Their lines have never been replaced. I know this because when you cast its a tangle because the line is in a permanent shape of the reel. All hooks were rusty in the tackle box and the rig I was given looked like It hadn't been changed in many trips. Even the sinker and swivel were rusting. NOT JOKING. I went out with these guys in September and Just remembered I had never left a review to warn all not to give them a cent. To this day I cant believe I didn't turn away and keep my money as soon as I saw the boat, the skipper and the gear. Oh and the bait hahaha a frozen mullet she had in a bucket and didn't begin to attempt to thaw it until we got to our fishing destination (within 50 metres from shore) so that was a fun first 15mins of the trip. Watching a person hack a frozen fish (that she clearly bought on the way to the boat ramp from the service station) with her blunt steak knife. If like me you couldn't get onto any serious charters during your holiday time do not just go with these guys like I did for a day on the water. Its not a fun day out, Just painful to be a part of. Stay in your hotel or hit the bar or even sleeping in all day until 3pm is time much better spent. It still frustrates me that these guys haven't been shut down for the rip off that they have been getting away with. Shameful Thieves

  I was also on the same charter as megans boyfriend. That review pretty much sums it up disgraceful!!! Wish we had googled this charter before booking. I cant find a good review on this charter its 0 stars rating from me . great job on running your charter business into the ground sharron you get 10 stars for that!!!

  Worst excuse for a fishing charter my boyfriend has been on!. Was told he would be fishing for pelagics but was soon to find out he would be bottom bashing for undersized fish that the skipper would cut up for fresh bait. There was no live bait! Which we were told he would be using when booking this disgraceful charter. The only bait he had was a bag of off prawns. The gear was old and broken down ,there was minimal fishing tackle nothing on board for catching Spanish mackerel and marlin!!!. Lunch was supplied and no surprise a bag of 7day old bread rolls from Woolworths and atub of pasta salad with a used by date of November 23rd??? The date of the charter was 2nd of jan 2017. He took a picture to show me and was disgusted with what i saw. These people should be ashamed of themselves, he call sharon the owner of this scam! but had no luck he was in told in no certain terms ...... off. This charter should be shut down!

  The fishing trip was very disappointing the fishing gear is of low quality and in need of some serious tlc owner was more than keen to take our money

  But did not have the time to discuss the lack of quality fishing gear trebbles so rusty on lures they were gone after casting them out

  definately wont be going on fish dive charters again and recommend that other fishers find another charter .. even tho i need to give this a star to post it i give i a minus one star
