  Have shared many sea miles with Gary and always found him to be a dedicated and professional seaman. He has also proven himself over the years to be an excellent teacher and I can't imagine any serious student of seamanship who wouldn't benefit from gaining seatime with Gary at Bluewater Marine on the Lady Katherine.

  I have the deepest respect for Gary Hughes as a trainer and maritime professional. Lady Katherine and Bluewater Maritime is the perfect way to gather commercial sea time or learn to sail. Highly recommended.

  We went sailing on Wednesday afternoon on the Lady Katherine.It was challenging and fun.Gary taught us how to work the sheet and keep safe,Katherine and Ben helped us sailing.The most enjoyable part was following the wind and when the boat heeled over,it was so exciting.Lucky for us,two dolphins appeared at the moment when we were sailing.The weather was just perfect,everyone had fun together.I would say yes if I had the chance to go sailing again.

  Unfortunately I have not had a chance yet to experience the lady Katherine adventure but knowing Gary and his very patient,calm teaching skills I'm sure I would be sailing in no time.
