We saw some amazing fish while snorkelling in the different locations chosen by the captain. The swirling sands at Whitehaven Beach are simply stunning at low tide, a must-see!

We were on an Eight guest 2 crew catamaran, and I can't recommend this enough. There are many ways to see the islands but if you can afford it this is in my opinion the best. Combine the knowledge of a local skipper with a comfortable birth and great food and you have the makings of a little slice of paradise. We were incredibly lucky with the weather getting mostly sun and some real wind on our last morning so we could race home, I never wanted it to end. Whitehaven beach is stunning but it was the little out of the way moorings and bits of local history that are truly memorable.

So lots of pros and some cons, overall, we would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to experience a unique boat trip you will forever remember.

However, it didn't quite live up to our expectations of what they posted on their website. It wasn't quite the party atmosphere we were anticipating, I was thinking the host would have more on board activities and things to do, but we improvised and played cards and other social games. The food was great and the host was able to accommodate for various dietary needs, all food was homemade by the host using personal or popular recipes. The boat was cleanish, just don't expect super clean. The accommodations were good if you had a private or shared room, otherwise your sleeping in the galley area where the tables turn into beds, also BRING EAR PLUGS!

There were a lot of rules-understood completely for legal reasons, but the biggest down side was we weren't allowed to swim when we wanted to, only when we went out to snorkel. There wasn't a lot of outside seating in the shade, and the surface of the boat got really hot, and there is a no shoes/sandals rule on the boat. We were travelling long distances on the boat which limited our adventure time, but seeing White Haven Beach was incredible!

We stayed on Powerplay for a 2 day/2 night adventure. It was certainly one of the neatest adventures we've done and we loved the experience. The scenery views are amazing everywhere you look. Snorkelling, paddle boarding and kayaking are a blast!

The Powerplay boat was not quite the James Bond boat advertised. The sleeping arrangements were better for those, like us, who were in the private double or twin double rooms as the others were sleeping in the dining area. Having said that, I have to highly recommend this tour as the onboard staff were amazing! As a gluten and dairy intolerant traveller I am always wary of going on tours where my food is prepared for me in such crampt conditions. The Powerplay staff had purchased brand new, still wrapped, chopping boards and a new knife to prepare my food. Rachel, our fabulous host, tour guide and chef was great at communicating with me throughout. I was served my food first and my dishes were washed and stored separately. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and varied.
